Welcome to the website of the National Association for Gifted Children.
Having a gifted child can be the most wonderful experience in the world. Their love of learning and thirst for knowledge is fantastic to see and they can be an inspiration to us all.
However, having a gifted child can also be extremely frustrating: watching boredom set in when they are not stimulated to learn; being bullied because they are ‘different’; underachieving at school or misdiagnosed.
NAGC works with the whole family to support the child who is gifted and talented. We hope this website helps you with the support you need.
Once again NAGC pulled out all the stops and delivered an incredible weekend of activities and workshops to 400 children and their parents and carers. Stantonbury Campus in Milton Keynes played host to the event which took place on 11th and 12th October. The combination of leisure centre and school provided the ideal venue for both classroom-based and outdoor activities from Robotix to Rocket Flight, Samba Drumming to Starlab, Aikido to Archery and Pirate Fun to Prehistoric Technology.
The University of Hertfordshire has introduced scholarships of £2,000 per annum to students who are looking to study at the University and have been identified as gifted and talented by their school or college.
Taking place between 9-20 December 2008, IGGY is pleased to be partnering with the National University of Singapore High School of Mathematics and Science (NUS High School) to hold the Winter U in Singapore.
With top professionals in the field bringing all the latest research on nutritional intervention and mental health together no health or educational professional can afford to miss this Conference.
