Attainment Target 1

Religious Knowledge and Understanding
Pupils should know the beliefs, practices and attitudes of Christianity and at least two other major world Religions. Pupils should understand the reasons for, and applications of, religious beliefs, practices and attitudes given by adherents.

Attainment Target 2

Religious Evaluation
They should acquire the skills of analysis, evaluation and insight across all Components of the Syllabus, developing an informed opinion about the value of aspects of the Syllabus's Components in relation to the pupils' own critical judgement. This is a subjective procedure involving pupils' own attitudes, beliefs and practices.
