The Second Gymnasium was founded in 1805 and is one of the oldest
educational establishments in St-Petersburg, Russia. It is situated in the
centre of the city near to St. Isaac's Cathedral. Our graduates include
many outstanding people including two sons of Pushkin, Miklukho-Maclai and
Mravinsky.

European Schools Communications Project (ESCP)
Schools in the county of Kent, England work with schools in many countries
including France, The Czech Republic, Germany and Russia to further the
education of pupils through the medium of electronic communications.
The ESCP project in St Petersburg started in August 1991.
